Advisory
Engaging with Māori may have its challenges. However, demonstrating some fundamental knowledge and showing respect and a willingness to know more can poise you into entering new understandings of Māori. Our work extends into relationship management and cultural risk assessment as well as policy and strategic advice.

Teaching
We teach with vibrancy and excitement while drawing on kaupapa Māori which legitimises te reo Māori and tikanga Māori in everyday behavioural and organisational practices. To learn and teach as a reciprocal process is central to our approach and talks to the nature of teaching and learning, valuing the participants’ knowledge and experience. This is critical to our teaching and facilitation approach. Our curriculum content is designed in partnership with the organisation requesting the training and feedback from participants is a mandatory component of our delivery.
Mataia Keepa
We offer our primary consultant, Mataia Keepa whose academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from the University of Waikato, with a double major in Te Reo Māori and Screen and Media. Mataia is also a graduate of Te Panekiretanga o te reo Māori (Māori Language Excellence Institution) and Te Mata Punenga. His extensive work experience is in the television, media, education and arts sector, working in both private and public sectors as well as working with both children and adults through traditional and contemporary Māori settings.
He is a skilled orator on the marae, a talented performer on stage and a recognisable face and voice fronting media. As the recipient of multiple national awards for compositions, he is an inspirational identity in his own right.
